Coronal
When musicians have an undying thirst for interesting and challenging music, they either become insomniac bedroom dwelling Geeks, or they find others with the same yearning and in 2008 that is exactly what Coronol did.
From the Ashes of their former bands Paul Smith (Kujata), Symon Minter (Jairus), Sam Alflatt (My Life In The Making) and Ted Clark (Moesaboa) have created their own sound sighting heavy weights such as Tool, Rage Against the Machine and Deftones as models of inspiration, it is difficult to pigeon hole these guys . Their live show can surpass any preconceived expectation of a local band, combining delicate elements of texture and explosive dynamics If you get the opportunity to witness a Coronal show then do so without any hesitation.
Hailing from Ashford and Folkestone in Kent these guys certainly pack one hell of a punch you need to appreciate good music to allow full audio penetration.
Sam Alflatt joined the band after original bassist Neil Masters (who apperars in their debut video) departed in the later part of 2009, however, undetered and stronger than ever the have continued to go from strength to strength.
